~Sir-Pumpkinhead was inspired to write these wonderful lines, which I've asked to be included here :D:

He sells happiness in pills,

life in colored bottles

Wow, what a cool picture! He's totally a "mysterious man in a pub" type of person.

Reminds me of James C Christensen's work.

I just love it :) and because it's a miniature makes it much more charming

 When I feel inspired by DA images I like to write a stanza or two (and only to people I know).
Sure! it'd be a great honor for me ^_^

Ah! :excited: Thanks so much for adding my words :D I'm afraid you now tainted a perfectly good description with them, though :giggle:
And I'm happy to see you sold it! Why don't you try selling more of your originals through here (or even ebay). There are a couple of your pieces I'd love to purchase, in fact  And I'm sure your watchers would like them too.

Nonsense! It has been elevated by your words! :giggle:

Thank you! I'd been hoping to do more ACEOs to sell, time permitting. so far I have only managed two (this and Une Fée ^^;). Perhaps there may be something you'll like in future. :D

I hope you have more time to work on new ACEOs (and I did notice Une Fée was for sale) that will no doubt sell like hot cakes ;)
Oh, I love them all, I just need to find the one that 'calls' me :aww:

Superb little gem !:D ... Himmapaan... do you always draw your preliminary sketch , straight onto the watercolour paper...?

Thank you so much!

Not always, but I've been doing it more frequently of late. I spend so long on everything -- including preliminaries -- that it's too frustrating when I can't get it the same when I come to do the final piece. I still make the roughest of thumbnails first though.

Sorry for my late reply, Poul. Thank you so very much for getting my Bremen musicians! What an honour to know that you have it! I'm afraid it is rather older work now. It was my very first book.

Ah, I wish I had some - *any* - spare cash to buy this! I suppose I'll have to content myself with looking at it here. Boo. I hope that people listen and are kind in their inquiries though, because I know how that can be with the anonymity of the internet.

The piece itself is, of course, gorgeous. I love his funny little mustache and nose! His trinkets are darling, particularly his walking stick. I still marvel at how you fit in all that detail. :D
