I do have to confess: grateful though I truly am for the Daily Deviation this received, I'm much more reticent about the adjective 'quaint' applied to it (the explanation for which would be too lengthy to include here), or the slight implication that this image somehow gives a flavour of what much of my gallery constitutes. But make no mistake, I am thankful and I am personally fond of this illustration nevertheless. Forgive a lover of words for being too keenly aware of very particular nuances...
