This book (my fourth) has done so well, completely to my astonishment. There are three co-editions: US, published by Candlewick Press; French, published by Editions Milan; and Japanese (I'm afraid I don't know the publisher's name for this...) The Golden Treasury Bookshop in Southwest London even reproduced the silhouettes for their window display last year: [link] . This was also the first book I've illustrated to have earned me royalties. It was all quite bewildering...
I found this book on the shelf and fell so in love with it I would not put it down, my daddy had to buy it for me lol! But the family read it this christmas eve, it's going to become a new tradition of ours to do so. I had no idea I would find the illustrator here on DA just a week later! This book is so beautiful. ^_^
I bow!!
Imagine my surprise when I found out it actually WAS you...
