A fox came by and asked: ‘Why are you weeping, Snow White?’

This tale is one of the rarer instances in which a fox plays a benevolent role, rather than an antagonistic one. The 'Snow White' of this tale bears no relation to the more famous one of the poisoned apple from the Brothers Grimm.

I'm not sure what I like more, the delicacy of your lines or your use of negative space. I also love how you have rendered the fox in this image. He is so spry.
Beautiful work! That little pop of red on her dress is perfect. I'm intrigued by the tale too - I've never read this one, and the fox being the good guy is so rare.
