You never stop to amaze me, Niroot.
This picture is so full of life! I can't decide which one I like the best - the rooster or the dog.

Can't wait to see it done, although I love the sketch so much!

Awesome! How will you proceed, will you be going over this with ink?

Thank you! Yes, I will indeed. Though this is only part of the whole, which may turn out... rather unexpectedly.

In progress and already beyond gorgeous! I cannot express how much I love your cranes. And I have such a soft spot for dogs (my own pup curled up at my side as I type being the main reason), I have to admire the nobility in yours. I can tell the finished product will be fabulous - the instruments and ladies' clothing especially!

Thank you so much!

Did you notice the nightingale singing with the erhu-playing lady? ^_^ I just thought you might appreciate that...

I noticed the little bird but didn't think it was a nightingale. It's even more charming to me now! They're such darling birds - the epitome of not judging a book by its cover. :)

10X13cm?? How on earth do you do such beautiful work at such small scales?

I'm afraid I don't know. ^^; How do others work so large? >.<

Of course, I should point out that this detail is about a third of the whole piece, which roughly A4.

I like it a lot! The nostalgia! I love that fairytale about the donkey, the dog, the cat and the rooster, I read it a lot when I was just a little kid. c: I don't know how it's called in English.

The Musicians of Bremen. ^_^

I illustrated the tale about seven years ago. It was my first book. There are a few pieces in the gallery.

Looks like a pleasant party, wherever they're headed. Lovely poses. Looks like they have the town musicians of Bremen in there too.

Don't you shrug like that! This is amazingly beautiful! It's like something out of those wonderful old world fairy tale books where all the illustrations seem to have these hidden details and can tell the story themselves. This might not be a story illustration, but I still feel a story behind it and the character of it is what I love most. Amazing as always! Never disappointing to seeing your work in my inbox.
