I agree wholeheartedly. Tea is better, too, because it doesn't make you drunk or hungover. XD
In a response to the other crane picture, on which comments are disabled, I would just like to say that you're not alone, and that I think the site itself has been on a steep decline for several years now. People online don't really care, in general, about others' work; fanart is the only thing that gets views/comments/faves; the average user is probably high-school age and their tastes reflect as much; the site's administration don't police submissions properly, banning art and allowing things that are decidedly not art and which seem to end up on the front page with disturbing frequency; and so on. I think that part of it is a problem of saturation: that is, there are now so many people on the site, all clamoring to be seen, that a lot of people just don't bother. At the same time, a lot of people have moved to tumblr. I get the impression that 90% of everyone's watchers are now inactive. So, perhaps it's not the subject matter, per se, but just the site's general decline that's kept your art from getting the attention it deserves?
I dunno, man. All I can say is, two years ago I could expect to get comments from six people, average, on anything I posted. Now I'm lucky if I get anything. I've stopped posting because it's too disheartening to put something up here just to have it go utterly ignored. :/ So, the point being just that, I feel you, and even though I don't comment much, I promise I am looking at and enjoying everything you post here.
