I have just seen the reason why this piece was drawn. Pink Dinosaurs. I know it was a few years ago but I would be more than happy to make a donation and pay for postage for a print of this. Jamie

Is there any way I can purchase a print of this? I have a few dinosaur tattoos and this is what is missing form collection. I love it! Would you mind if I used it for a tattoo reference?

There's something about this pic that just grabs me. Dunno if it's the action pose, or if it's simplicity of line, or the part where the little beast just looks like it's having fun- most likely a synergy of the 3, I suppose. In any event, it's really quite wonderful- thanks for sharing it with us.

Hi,
I've got a stupid(ish) question: I've been redoing my bicycle and since it's old I decided to call it velociraptor (I didn't quite remember that it actually was a real dinosaur, but I love the sound of it and it fits my bike). Well, I was wondering whether you would allow me to make a small sticker out of this and put it on the side of the bike, next to the writing.

And however you decide in the end, I really like the drawing. I imagine it going "squeeeeeee, I got a present!" and jumping up and down.

Thanks, I'll upload a picture to my scraps once it's done so you can have a look. It should take another week and then I'll let you know.

I always thought pink would look bad on a dinosaur like a Velociraptor but this looks really beautiful. :meow:

How perspicacious of you! I had originally planned another pink velociraptor on the opposite page of the sketchbook, but I couldn't finish it in time...

Oh man, as a childhood dino fan, it's going to take some time before I can wrap my head around velociraptors with feathers, even though I know it's much more accurate! Nonetheless, this is fantastic! I just love those savage little killing machines!

Hehe, I suspect they weren't quite the 'savage killing machines' of popular imagination. Excellent hunters, yes, and something one wouldn't want to mess with, but not quite indiscriminate destructive beasts. :giggle: Think of modern birds of prey. :D

Now I'm envisioning giant parakeetosaurs, because my budgies actually can be quite indiscriminate and destructive when it comes to their seed and my shelf XD I hope they fluffed up their feathers and head-banged like budgies, too, ha!

A vicious carnivore is entitled to make fashion statements too  Flamingos were so jealous of the Pink 'raptor's popularity that they tried emulating it... Posers ¬ _¬

I am ever in love with how you do feathers, and the elegant simplicity just makes this piece even better.

A pink dinosaur fundraiser; that is such a neat concept. If I would have known about this, I would have totally contributed.
