Ink. 100x 150 mm. Yes, it's quite small. The preview size is approximately that of the original (at least on my monitor).

A partial and impromptu response to :iconkrysohmyz:'s poem: [link] . See also his wonderfully kind dedication of this story [link] to me. My ever, ever grateful and heartfelt thanks for writing it.

I'm at a loss for a good title, so the present one is in direct response to the line: 'If due to rain you can't be wetter' and ~krysohmyz's description that it's '[his] life in a nutshell...'

Not if I can help it...

ALL I NEED IS A FORK!!!!!
Following your links to :iconkrysohmyz: and found it interesting!

Your drawing, btw, is marvelous. :)
What a beautiful expression of friendship!

It reminds me of a lovely little Aspen tree at work that was kind enough to shelter me from the rain I was caught in during one of my hikes.

That's very sweet - both the poem and the drawing. I find that poetry is often beyond me, but this helps me understand it immensely. :) It's like The Giving Tree - the tree that sacrifices everything for the boy it befriends. The one storybook that always made me cry as a kid. (In a good way.) :D
