I have only now seen for myself the range of categories available for comics, as pointed out to me by another deviant. It seems one is spoilt for choice in this, which makes the scarcity of illustration categories all the more unpardonable. But I digress ()...

From the sublime to the ridiculous, apparently. So soon after a Rubáiyát illustration.

Please pay no attention to the silly title; I really couldn't think of one. It's immaterial, in any case, as you'll see.

This was originally conceived as part of the mercifully abandoned Unicorns, Almost, which older watchers might have a vague recollection of. No, please don't go looking for it, I've hidden the aberration safe from view. However, I did come across this part among some papers, and as it works well as a standalone little episode, and is not too terrible upon the whole, I thought I'd share it. If nothing else, it might raise a small smile. I will probably put it in scraps later.

I would originally have laid some sepia washes on it, but as you see, I hadn't even got as far as erasing some of the pencil lines. Nuuu, please do not ask me to finish it either.
