What specific materials are you using here? I assume watercolors...watercolor is so great.

Yes, pen and ink (sepia ink) and watercolours, with a tiny bit of gouache for those specks of highlights and some of the detailing such as the whitework on Miss Carteret's shawl and the lace trim.
