Apatosaurus and youngster, drawn as a gift. The recipient requested no dermal spines, which I think I would rather have relished adding had I been drawing for myself. I'm afraid I'm not as happy with it as I could have been (insofar as I could be said to be 'happy' with any of my work, that is to say); perhaps the consciousness of drawing for somebody else or its more 'serious' nature (or both) had resulted in too tense an approach. At all events, it feels curiously lacking in spirit to me. But it and its surrounding circumstances played no small part in inspiring the silly (but deliciously so; come now, admit it
) 'Aprontosaurus' which I submitted a short while ago.
